Review on Food Saver Vacuum Sealer: Dry & Moist Modes, Built-In Cutter, Water Groove, Bags Included by Tina Brooks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why did I wait so long?!

I started with one of these small handheld vacuum cleaners. This worked well enough, but after a few uses the valves on the bags didn't close well enough to hold the vacuum. So I decided it was time to buy something that sucks and seals. I love that you have different settings for dry and wet products and that it couldn't be simpler to use. In this photo I have sealed two 1 pound pieces. bag of ground beef and four 1/4 lbs. bags. Although I've bought several rolls of bags, I still use old valved bags; I just cut off the tips. Not only have these grocery bags saved me a lot of freezer space, but I no longer have to clean leaky bags from meat juices in the fridge. Lots of space. Cons: The noise of vacuuming and sealing is quite loud.
