I didn't know what to expect from this product when I ordered it. I have incorporated information I have read in reviews, product information and my knowledge of how computers and laptops work. After receiving and using this product, I am convinced of it. First, don't expect a miracle. This product works as advertised when installed correctly. This product is self explanatory and frankly if proper installation and use cannot be assured by simply looking at the items provided then you should seek help. After all, you want it to work, which is why you bought it. My experience with this is that in a room without air conditioning I can only expect a 10 degree C temperature drop at best, which happens at idle. corresponds to an idle temperature of 60 to 50 °C on average. Yes, my laptop gets very hot, as all users of this model can confirm. If you're looking for something different, it's probably best to look elsewhere as I don't think this product will work for you. I like it: It does an excellent job of removing stale air from the laptop. Case. While I can't provide sensor data to back this up, I can say I can feel a difference on the laptop's palm rests. without being warm and with being cool. This is as advertised for the product and it actually does what it promises. However, there are some dislikes. I find the fit inadequate. If less money were spent on features that detract from functionality, like the flimsy plastic suction cup and automatic functions, more could be done to make the product better for its intended use. Attaching it to a plastic suction cup is practically useless. I highly recommend you use a metal mounting plate, even if you don't glue it to your laptop. I can say firsthand that it works well and is way better than the plastic version. My laptop is on a docking station, but sometimes I turn it off. The metal top works for everyone, but the plastic top doesn't. Plus, like I said, it's not even necessary to use tape. I don't as my laptop doesn't work normally most of the time. IF you travel you want to keep it safe. Another problem I have is related to the value of my dollar. Monitoring the temperature of the air coming out of my laptop isn't very helpful. Not totally useless, but not very useful either. I'd rather spread the cost over a more powerful fan (with higher speed and higher quality options) and replace the electronics with a simple manual 0-10 dial. All modern laptops (I'm sure someone will find one that doesn't) have internal sensors that can be used to monitor temperature. These are the timings you want to see displayed in place of your actual hardware components. While I understand that most users do not know how to use them, if you are looking for a similar product, maybe it is time to refresh your memory and explore as it will only help you achieve your system cooling Goal. my last words Overall I like the product and would buy it again. I think it's overpriced. However, if you want such a product, the prices don't get much cheaper. The terminal blocks at the top set this part apart from many others. It's not the only brand that has them, but they are an important factor in functionality and proper fit. I gave it 4/5 stars because I think it's a relatively good price and some of the manufacturing cost went into making it look decent where it could be applied to the main features.
