I bought these specifically because of the UL CE and other certification details on the site. I even went to the UL website and verified the registration, which is actually there. But the design does not limit the current, and the temperature exceeded 140 degrees outdoors when the power bank was charged at 18000MWh. That's not okay for something that might be behind a curtain or under your child's bed. The #1 cause of fires in the US is electricity, namely connected devices, not the wiring in your home. At this temperature, adjacent materials will discolor over time, but when it's higher, especially under a stack of paper, clothing, or anything else insulating, it can get a lot worse. I disassembled the device and otherwise it's better than the regular unnamed part, with a decent separation of low voltage circuits and mains. If only it had a power limiting circuit or a more efficient buck converter, this could be the perfect product.
