My shower door is glass and when I have mine I have Shower remodeled, it was about an inch above the sill. This created a problem as there are NO shower doors deep enough to cover the space and prevent water from the shower from splashing onto the bathroom floor. I measured the distance and ordered the size I thought was best. I took the existing strip and removed it from the bottom of the door. Cut the silicone tape to the length of the hose and attach the silicone sealing tape directly to the existing shower side hose frame, under the screen, to channel water from the door back to the shower. This closed the gap. I no longer have water leaking under the door when I shower. Problem solved.
