Review on Finnex Planted+ 24/7 HLC Aquarium LED Light for Enhanced Plant Growth by Andrew Dodd

I bought this light to grow plants in my 60 gallon. It's bright enough to provide moderate light up to 2 feet and I love the pre-programmed 24 hour cycle. The lighting and cloud coverage features are a little silly in my opinion, but the rest of the customization settings are a great feature. With a little effort, you can even set up the 24-hour format. I love its slim profile, very light weight, easy to insert legs and it sits securely on the rim of the tank over my glass lids. It runs pretty cool and the remote works well. In just a week, the plants in my aquarium are turning green and starting to produce new growth. My only major criticism of the product is that for a few bucks more they could apparently put an IP protection cover on the lights that protects them from accidental water splashes and so this product stays above the water box for the duration of the services. It would also be nice if they gave a breakdown of the spectra and intensity of the light emitted, but I guess it depends on the application. All of this is about the price, you won't find the same light or setting in any pet store. unless the light is on. Its bright and golden "Set it and forget it" function.
