These are amazing magnetic clasps. My old French doors to my den were junk, as were the ball locks. Always had to tie down and flex the doors before they latched. Even after greasing and lowering the spheres, they were still a no-brainer to close. Enter these magnets. I have replaced my doors with heavy duty beveled glass core doors. I stuck these magnets in both doors and frames and plugged in the bumpers. Wow. What an improvement. The doors now close tightly with little effort. When closing it feels almost mechanical, that's how powerful they are. Strong enough to keep my cats from opening the door. My new doors didn't fit perfectly because of the door jamb. No problem, I bought another set and installed it on the edges of the doors, facing each other. Now the doors stretch perfectly and also align as the new kit holds both doors together. Looks great. The only downside is that the doors bounce a lot if you're not careful when closing them. This is an easy fix, just drill holes deeper to countersink the magnets, making them weaker. Although I'm happy where they are. Good product. Spend money and then forget.
