My cat had a scratching problem, she kept scratching her face and causing serious injuries. The vet gave us a regular nylon cone and she scraped it through in a couple of weeks. So I bought these and the plastic is great because she couldn't scratch it in any way. But it's quite heavy so she couldn't keep her head straight and the top of the cone was always on her head. The design on the bag is some kind of paper so she quickly licked it off, which worried me because I'm sure she ended up eating most of it. As far as it's available and what we need it for, I'd say it's a good product, but it could use a lot of improvements.
