My son can wear a medium size. It is 9th on the slime side but fits a 7-8 waist size. I feel like they're bigger than other M sweatshirts we've had, but he can still wear them if he tightens the drawstring otherwise they get very loose, especially when he puts his hands in his pockets. It's a nice and soft material, not so soft. like the other sweatpants but they are still comfortable enough that he can wear them to school today because it was raining. He says they are comfortable. My son wears an athletic padded shirt and pants but he loves them. That's a win in my book!
