Third purchase, I wear them mostly around the house and even as shorts under my sweatpants when I'm running errands nearby, walking my dogs or even when I'm flying abroad because that's how I do it am feeling more comfortable. I'm 6ft 5in, about 202lbs and the size Large is perfect for me, above the knee but not below the knee. I ignore the washing instructions and usually tumble dry on low, the oldest of them all. I have one that I've washed dozens of times, the last time I had a tiny hole on my left thigh, but if I'd never tumble dried it I think it would be in perfect condition. The laces are sewn into the pants but I've tightened them as far as I find unnecessary and it's never damaged any of the shorts I've worn for years, despite the obvious sound and feeling that I'm off my pull out belt not meant to be pulled there m there
