good ink in the pad because I plan to make them by myself with my homemade gouache pigment ink after one Refill Recipe I received from my humble mentor, Lindsey W. . . While these blocks are a thing so they don't hold a lot of ink, I don't need them because I'll refill them when needed. Best of all I can mix my own ink as I have it and as long as I clean up the hot stamping I can draw, ink or paint over with alcohol pencils or whatever without worrying about smudging. Even IF you just bought them to use them for what they are and then you're done with them, you will 100% get your money's worth. You're not paying more than $100 here, as you normally would for professional ink pads of this size. So if that's what you're expecting, you'll have to lower the bar on budget products, and in that regard they're a steal.
