I ordered a small bag. I was looking for something that would fit comfortably in my holdall or backpack and still avoid squeezing my hands. This one is perfect. The photos I've attached show a closed bag containing my travel makeup. The pocket is long enough to hold a full size naked palette. As an added bonus, there is a pocket behind each section of the brush and I slipped the palette into one of them. There is actually some kind of washable laminate behind the brushes, which is great for cleaning. On the other hand, 3 eyeshadows from MAC and L'Oréal fit comfortably in the zipped pockets. Behind these mesh pockets is an additional full-size pocket that can hold makeup remover wipes or other items such as tweezers, eyelash curlers, etc. I can easily add a few lip glosses or lipstick. It might fall short for those who are YouTube-level with their makeup routine, but for the average girl on the go, it's perfect.
