Review on ATP Y 1515 Manual Transmission Shift by Don Santos

I bought this for a 90 Pontiac Sunbird. There are 2 cables, one of which moves when the switch is moved side to side and the other when the switch is moved back and forth. I had to move from side to side and it's not. It seems to be the one designed to go back and forth (1st to 2nd, 3rd to 4th) but I haven't actually installed it so no guarantees. Neither at Revain nor anywhere else on the internet is there a description of which cable is which. I have ordered another cable (y-1514) and if it fits I will definitely leave a review on it.
