Great mug for older kids

We love leaving our Tervis mugs on the kids table. That way they always have water and given the parent-child ratio in our house and how many children can't reach a fridge or pour a jug of milk, that's great! With the lids closed, slight tipping (kids, you know) won't lead to a crisis with wet chores, dirty desks, etc. Give your kid an open cup and they'll splatter the table when you least expect it. The great thing is that they can be washed in the dishwasher. We got one for one of the kids because of the design and now a few years later we're giving it to everyone else. The original mug is not faded, cracked or spilled. Water bottles are often difficult to open and close and, due to their nature, can easily tip over, making them a great option for kids. This is the larger size we bought for our seniors but it still fits easily in the dishwasher and lets you drink a little more at a time.
