Ubuntu saved my computers with FULL functionality after Windows corrupted my files! I have a Dell touchscreen. Windows says the hard drive is corrupt. UBUNTU fixed the problem and I love the OS. 1) Insert the USB stick with Ubuntu. 2) Turn on the computer and enter the BIOS menu. (ON SWITCH + F12) *** If that doesn't help you, ask Google as BIOS access is different for some brands. *** 3) Go to DOWNLOAD OPTIONS. (Again, system navigation *arrows/enter* differs by brand) 4) Change the main boot option to BOOT FROM USB. 5) RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. This operating system is convenient and easy to use. All questions can easily be found on google for solutions. All of my hardware (CD drive) (touch screen) (HDMi) was Ubuntu compatible and easily interfaced with the OS. This is the best operating system and my computer works.
