I ordered this phone for my 91 year old mother and took it to Florida to replace a more complicated phone. Unfortunately I had to return it for the reasons described here. The phone itself is amazing - very simple and convenient for an elderly person. However, the twisted cable is of normal length and not extended, as the listing suggests. When you call, you are tied to your seat. Also, the cord to the phone jack is 6ft at best - not long enough if your outlet is on the other side of the bed, for example. Both can be repaired for an additional fee, and I can backorder with fixes, but the buyer should be aware that the phone can cost upwards of $39.95.
