Almost perfect: shoes

Great shoes overall. Almost perfect, but needs some tweaking, so maybe not nearly perfect. Walked 6 miles on hard and rocky terrain. It holds up well and gives me good protection but still allows for some ground feel. The lacing system is easy to use, but replacing it is probably impossible if something goes wrong. not the most breathable. You get a little warm. The toe is not the narrowest. Wider Hokaa, so anything but not as wide as Altra. fits very true to size. grip was great. I wouldn't mind having a little more under the footpad, but that's probably because I'm recovering from a broken knee. I could use more arch support, but that's ok. I stepped on a wet rock and almost died. Well, not literally, but these things stick terribly to wet rocks. It got to the point that they were unsuitable for me in winter. You'll need to use a softer compound on some or all studs for better grip, probably at the expense of durability, but that's fine. You are not safe in wet areas. Overall they fit well though I would have liked a wider toe box. They feel solid and offer good tow protection when you hit rocks and roots with your toes. They stick to dry material like mofo. You look good.
