Unisex Cycling Shoes Strap Hiking Shoes Review: Functional but Unremarkable

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Unisex Cycling Shoes Strap Hiking Shoes for both road and mountain biking, as well as for general outdoor travel. Overall, I found the shoes to be functional and reasonably comfortable, with a few drawbacks that kept me from giving them a higher rating. First off, the sizing was a bit off for me. I typically wear a US women's size 8, and ordered the same size in these shoes. Unfortunately, they felt quite snug and I think I would have been better off going half a size up. However, once I got them on and adjusted the straps, they felt secure and supportive. I appreciated the versatility of the shoes, as they were suitable for both road and mountain biking, as well as for casual hikes and exploring new areas. The sole provided decent grip on dirt trails and other uneven surfaces, though I did slip a few times on particularly slick rocks. One major downside for me was the lack of ventilation in these shoes. Even on cooler days, my feet felt uncomfortably warm and sweaty after just a few minutes of biking. I can't imagine wearing them on a hot summer day. Overall, the Unisex Cycling Shoes Strap Hiking Shoes are a decent, budget-friendly option for those looking for a versatile shoe that can handle a variety of activities. However, the sizing and ventilation issues kept me from giving them a higher rating.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Despite the shoes being advertised as unisex, they may not be suitable for everyone's foot shape. Some customers have complained about the shoes feeling too tight or too loose, causing discomfort during cycling or hiking
