Review on Blue Light Blocking Computer Reading Glasses - Anti Glare Eyeglasses for Men and Women, Relieving Eye Strain with Lightweight Design by Tatiane White

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good optics, no spring hinges, blue block efficiency not yet assessed

I've been using them as computer glasses for about a week now and I'm mostly happy with them. And therefore. PROS: The 1.75x magnification I ordered was perfect and I can see clearly throughout the lens range. The goggles are lightweight and with the integrated nose clip I don't have to worry about parts of my nose falling off. The kit included a hard carrying case, a polishing cloth and a set of tools. CONS: There are no springs in the headphones. Headphone loops feel a bit tight. I'm not sure if this is a scam as previous experiences with loops like this have ranged from screws loosening and falling out to screws being so tight that eventually the earbud breaks and the screw/hinge connection remains perfect. through the life of glasses. Only time will tell how they work. QUESTIONS: The lenses are clear, but they claim to block blue light. I've researched online for about 40 minutes and haven't been able to find a definitive answer as to whether clear lenses are capable of blocking blue light. Manufacturers say yes, authors with opinions but no facts probably say no, but I haven't been able to find any independent lab tests to back this up one way or the other. The bottom line is this ability to block blue light - that's why I bought these glasses. - Will your eyes sting and feel tired after a long day at the computer? They don't exist yet, so maybe they work fine. All in all, with prices for such reading glasses ranging from around $3 at your local megastore to over $200 at places that pride themselves on what they offer, the $33 glasses I spent on them seemed a decent price - to have money. Although for the price I was hoping they would have spring hinges.
