This is a genuine leather bag which I received in black. The black color is dark but not saturated, almost appearing like a deep espresso brown. In the sun you can see it's black, but indoors, well, like I said, the color is less pronounced. The skin is very soft and supple. (It also comes with a cloth pouch for storage.) It's a crossbody bag, but the straps aren't long by any means. They are of course long enough to sling over your shoulder. However, if you are wearing a very thick coat (e.g. a down jacket), it may seem a little short to you. For added security, the bag has three internal compartments with a full zip closure in the center and a zipped pocket on the back. (Inner) wall of the bag. The top of the bag also has a zipper to keep it closed. This is a very roomy bag but things fall in to the bottom. There is no "structure" in the bag at all. It reminds me of Sak wallets. (I hope this description helps you get a better idea of what it looks like when you wear it.) While some of the above actions sound like negatives, none of them mattered to me in terms of quality or portability. The cost is included in the review as it is not currently listed on the product page and I received the review bag. Overall I think this is a quality bag that is soft, roomy and unstructured. If this is the type of product you are looking for, I think you will be satisfied with it.
