I still use this watch as a pocket watch rather than fiddling with a pin on the clasp. My wife was able to get this thing to open and close, but so far I haven't found it worth the trouble. During (the first week) the clock is working, I can read it in a variety of lighting conditions, and the rubberized mount makes it easy to find in my pocket. I would still prefer a carabiner mount but haven't found one I like since Timex stopped making them.
