We purchased quite a few cruise-specific items based on blogs we read before our first trip. Of them all, this lanyard was by far the most worthless. For starters, on our ship, you have to insert your card to get into your room, which meant we were constantly pulling it out of the plastic (the way the lanyard is designed did not allow us to hook just the card to it outside of the plastic).Secondly, the plastic kept coming unhinged from the clip, and I almost lost my card several times. Finally, the plastic clung to the card and removed some of the barcode from the card when I tried to pry it out. I was unable to get scanned back in at one of the ports due to this. Thankfully the rest of my family's cards worked so they let me back on without issue.Do yourselves a favor and get a different lanyard.
