Based on the reviews I was hoping for a better experience. It takes a little while to start punching grid tracks, but once they wear out the cleaning improves. The problem is that it still doesn't clean much more than just the surface. Beveling the edges into the trellis space helps but still doesn't clean. I could handle all of that. My biggest problem is the granules left after the block. I tried boiling after cleaning to see if I needed to use my old brush to scrub off any remaining grains of sand. You could feel them rooted in the flesh. If I have to finish with a brush, what's the point of using them? The only reason for using them is to avoid leaving bristles on the brush.
