I've had the transformer and the docking station for about 3 weeks now and I have to say I'm having way too much fun with them! Asus has delivered on its promise and any issues the dock used to have are now gone. I love the fact that I can just charge my tablet and dock it at night and use it actively throughout the day and not have to charge it until I go to bed. Here's how I define heavy use: 1. I'm a returning college student and I come to school an hour every day. So charging is not as easy as charging at home or plugging it in (especially with a short cable).2. I'm an Android fanatic so I'm always on my tablet trying to find cool stuff for my tablet e.g. B. Download live wallpapers, games, etc.3. I like to keep up to date with my RSS feeds and YouTube subscriptions.4. Words With Friends is cool.5. I downloaded my physics and calculus books to my tablet and only use it in class. 6. I also use my tablet as a calculator (handycalc is perfect for this)7. Because I drive to school, I like to video call my wife and family at home.8. I really enjoy listening to Pandora9 radio. My smartphone is 2 years old and lately it dies before the day is out. In fact, I can connect my phone to the dock and charge it when needed.10. etc. So, as you can see, I use my tablet extensively and still find enough juice to play before bed. Even on the very rare occasions that I ditch the dock, I can just plug it in and continue using the tablet. Unlike other devices, it takes less than a couple of hours to fully charge the docking station. Now for some disturbing things. Lately I've noticed that my dock is behaving strangely. The main problem I have is that I have to open the tablet to a 90 degree angle before I can use the keyboard. Interestingly, the trackpad works as soon as I open it. That was not always so. I plan to contact Asus on Monday to test my options and will update this review at a later date. Also, I must warn everyone: DO NOT DISCARD YOUR TABLET WHILE THE USB CABLE IS PLUGGED IN! I made that mistake and now I'm missing a USB port. Conclusion: Do I regret my purchase? No! I love my tablet and my docking station. Once I find a way to watch my shows on Hulu (my shows aren't available on Hulu plus :-()), I no longer need my laptop. And since I can work all day on a single charge, I don't have to worry about being home all the time! So if you're thinking about getting a transformer, I highly recommend bringing a docking station with you. Here's what I found: 1. Alt-Tab opens the Android Recent Apps window (not the multitasking ribbon on the left side of the screen). Pressing Alt-Tab again takes you to one of the 8 most recently used apps. If you're in a browser, first make sure you're clicking outside of text boxes. 2. In a standard browser: Ctrl-T and Ctrl-W work for new tab and close tab respectively. It definitely comes in handy when using the quick controls settings in the labs, which removes the status bars and URLs at the top (essentially showing the browser in full screen).
