I recently switched my Senegal parrot (after 16 years) to pellets (his choice). We went to the pet store and I showed him all the different sizes and colors (I figured if he showed visual interest in them he'd be more likely to try to actually eat them) and he settled on ZuPreem FruitBlend. for medium/large birds. So we come home and I change his food, cold turkey. I braced myself for the inevitable naughty child who would become my parrot, but all I heard was a crunch. I look, and the bastard dove into the new food! This made the exchange completely painless. In fact, he gained a few grams after a few weeks. I'm so in love with this food. Now, I can't promise she'll magically get a picky eater to eat, but I do know that my toddler would give her a clumsy parrot, and that's all that really matters.
