So far so good! best in my review

I bought this set for my father. He was in the process of redoing his family room and had just ordered new furniture. His dog is an untrained hound that acts like a feral cat. Totally used to jumping on, running around, and sleeping on his furniture. I didn’t want to see her ruin the new furniture so I bought these to see if they would work. It’s been almost two weeks and she won’t even go near the couch. I think she initially tried to get up on there but was immediately repelled by these pads. They are pretty heavy and seem to stay in place well. They do come bent in the shipping box so you need to lay them out a day or two with some weight on them before the first use. They can be easily trimmed if needed. They are not going to hurt your dog’s feet, but they are certainly uncomfortable to the touch and I don’t think any dog or cat is gonna tolerate it well.

Pros
  • Dog barrier!
Cons
  • The tiles may not be strong enough to deter determined pets from accessing furniture, rendering them useless
