I have the same concept organizer (clear lid with removable trays/compartments) that I use for Lego around the house and nuts/bolts in the garage. I used to use old tackle box liners to sort small parts, but the small dividers inevitably fell out and suddenly all the little things were a mess. Most of my organizers are quite large and I've been eyeing smaller sizes. an organizer to store my splices and heat shrink tubing filled with solder. That fits the bill perfectly. I noticed that the lid sometimes got stuck somewhere when it was first opened, preventing the lid from opening. Looking at the hinge area I noticed that part of the line of the plastic mold was sticking out a little and sticking to the base. It took a few seconds for the razor blade to cut away the slight trace of mold that got in the way and now everything is going smooth and smooth.
