We live in PNW so waterproof shoes are essential in the fall and winter. I bought these and a pair of Colombian ones (presumably waterproof). After a day of kindergarten, my son came home with wet socks and waterproof Columbia hiking boots. but the Merrells are dry after a few days of rain. Will definitely buy another pair when she outgrows it.
