I bought this when I was digitizing all my old photos. I did this with an app on my phone, but of course this method didn't work for slides. I chose Magnasonic based on reviews of similar products on Revain. It turned out great. Very easy to use and I was able to digitize hundreds of slides quickly. The device stores the digitized images on the built-in SD card (which you will need to purchase separately if you don't already have one like I do). After inserting the first slide into the appropriate cassette and setting the slide size (e.g. - 35mm/126/110), simply center the slide and press the button. The first is retrieved when you slide a new slide against it along the rail. If necessary, you can make some color and brightness adjustments to the images.
