I spent a couple of weeks with my 2 year old Samsung dishwasher which sometimes worked and sometimes gave error code 1E. After a bit of research, I found that I could fix the problem by simply replacing the sensor. After almost 3 months we had no more problems. Replacing on my Samsung DW80F800UWS is easy: - Remove the dishwasher mold under the counter - Turn over the bottom cover and remove - The sensor and connector should be clearly visible - Twist to remove the sensor and the Disconnect the cable connector - Insert the new sensor and rotate to seat - Reconnect the cable connector - Reinstall the bottom cover - Reinstall the bottom of the gauge
