Bottle holds 8 oz as advertised. The small bottle of mouthwash I used weighs 8.5 ounces. I don't even notice a 0.5 ounce difference. When it's empty, I just fill it up again. It doesn't take up much space on my desk and looks way better than a mouthwash bottle. For those who complain about the top popping out, just leave a little extra headroom at the top. Air doesn't exert as much back pressure as liquid. My cap pops out when I fill the bottle all the way to the brim. Leaving a small air space solves the problem.
