I haven't had a new laptop since I bought my Asus 6 years ago. I compare this little gem to this monster. This one is smaller and lighter. The battery life so far far exceeds what I'm used to. This Acer has a much more comfortable keyboard and touchpad, as well as a much-improved display and sound. The speed of the Internet is higher, and the response to new tasks is quick. Setup was pretty easy. It's nice to have Office included for the first year, saving you over $60 when you start. I'm used to Windows 10 and s mode doesn't seem to be a problem as I only use Edge to access what I need without downloading apps like Google Photos etc. I don't want to spend a lot of money - just something better for word processing, social media, email, etc. That's exactly what I found.
