The wires were a different gauge than the original for 2 of the 4 wires. I can't say for sure, but I think this difference caused the relay to melt completely. The one I bought and installed got so hot it melted/melted the pigtail to the relay. I don't know if this damaged other connected wires or not, but I do know that the melting definitely happened NOW! I won't try this kind of relay and pigtail assembly again.
Pros
- It is very important to check the radiator fan amperage. If you install this with a worn out fan, you will most likely just burn it out again.
