Review on Stealth Cam Micro USB OTG Memory Card Reader: Enhanced Android Device Compatibility, Black, STC-SDCRAND by Patrick Hamman

I bought this device to replace a recently lost SD card reader. When I got that, I put the SD card in the reader and plugged it into my phone and nothing happened. After pulling the packaging out of the trash to look for instructions, I found the instructions were useless. I then turned to Revain, Google and the GSM website for help. I've found comments about downloading specific software onto your phone to make the device work, but nothing that explains it in detail. Then I called GSM. Their customer service was fairly quick to respond, helpful and spoke ENGLISH. For that reason alone I'm giving it two stars. They made me download the OTG Checker app on my phone to make sure my phone is OTG compatible. It was. After almost two frustrating hours with this device, they discovered that it was defective. I also found out that this device is only meant to be connected to SOME Android devices. . . very limited. More importantly, you can't just plug it into your computer. My previous card reader connected to my phone or computer with no problems. The only issue I had with my other device was that it was difficult for me to connect to my phone as the phone case was in the way of the connector. I bought this stealth cam card reader because the short cable makes it easy to plug it into my phone.
