I'm clumsy so when I was spending over $1000 on a cell phone I needed maximum protection. I bought a high-end plastic protective case, but it was too smooth. I usually put my phone on the edge and it falls off when there's just a smooth plastic case. I couldn't find any cases that were sticky. This self-adhesive rubber was the perfect solution. I cut out a rectangle that fits the back of the phone case. It adds the perfect amount of stickiness and saves my phone from dropped stuff. I've had it for a while and it sticks to the case very well. There was no edge curling or sliding. It also stayed tacky - I occasionally wipe it down with Clorox wipes to disinfect it and it remains slightly tacky (but not so tacky that dust and dirt stick to it).
