I have a 1999 Ford F-350 that I bought with 270,000 miles on it. Shortly after purchase it becomes a bit difficult to start if I leave it for 2 days. I had to change the brakes and it took a few days. When I tried to start my truck, all I heard was a "click" and the battery light on the dash stayed on. After some YouTube, I realized that this was my starter and that I could fix it myself. I bought this starter which had good reviews and Amazon said it would fit my truck. It couldn't have gone better. Getting dressed took about an hour. You need a 12" extension on the ratchet to get to the top screw and it takes a little patience but isn't too bad. I wanted to start my truck and was amazed! It starts like a new truck, the starter sounds stronger than ever. I don't always give products five stars and they may change if this product doesn't last long but I can't say anything bad about this purchase.
