Review on Polaroid ID820-WHITE-OD-2 Slim Digital Video Camera (Pearl White) by Darren Munajj

- The price, size and weight of this device are fantastic, but the video quality is only average. If you need something easy to carry around for the occasional quick video, this is a decent product. But if you have an iPhone, it's not going to perform any better than the phone you're already carrying around. I don't understand why there is so much focus on zoom when the wide angle isn't enough, although that's a complaint that applies to most photo/video products. Maybe I'm weird but I try to fit in the frame as much as possible and almost never use the zoom which is too shaky without a stand or support. If you're filming at home (like a birthday party or a house tour), a wider field of view helps. Working with it is not entirely intuitive, I forgot to explain to a tech-savvy 25-year-old engineer how to turn it on and use it. and it took them a few minutes to figure it out. If I gave this to someone who isn't tech savvy like my mom, they would never be able to use it without a guide.
