Eliminating brassy tones from blonde hair

I mistakenly purchased this purple shampoo thinking it was the brand my hairdresser recommended. After using it for around 6 months now, I haven't noticed any change in color. I have natural blonde hair and was looking to get rid of brassy tones; I don't know if the product works well for other reasons.

Love this product as I’m letting my hair go naturally gray..

Contains harsh chemicals that may damage hair over time.
