Advantages: The set contains many colors to test and try. Clay isn't too hard so you can shape it pretty quickly. There are many tools included in the kit so it's a great tool to start with if you're a beginner like me. Cons: Individual colors are very small, so you use the whole pack for one project, and you have to buy more colors if you want to do something on a larger scale. Much of the clay in my kit had black residue of what I believe to be black clay. This happened to about 30% of the flowers so I struggled to scrape off the pieces and still got gray swirls on some of my lighter, prettier colors because I couldn't remove them completely. unless I took out a few pieces (which give me a lower price to work with than I already have). I hope this doesn't apply to all kits because it definitely got my stuff dirty. I can't return them as I've already used up some of them.
