Just got these socks and let my son try them on before washing. He has trouble with seams on the toes of his socks, so we're looking for socks with seamless or smooth seams as advertised. The stitching is even, but there's a "J" logo at the bottom of each sock, and as you can see in the picture, there's a huge wad of extra material on the right. metatarsal. Why would you do that?!? Luckily it seems I can cut off the excess material and they work, but what a pain! I will update my review on durability and if this will cause any long term issues with socks. Otherwise they appear to be smooth stitching as advertised and the material is really soft.
