Yes they are very cheap. They are a harder rubber plastic rather than flexible rubber. You get 4 four for the price of 1 branded damper. Pretty easy to install and they do the exact same job. All I had to do was drill holes in the valves and put rivets in the holes to hold the stock valves on my '98 Subaru Impreza. The supplied 6mm push rivets worked for the two rear wheels on my car, but I had to use longer and larger diameter ones to mount the front ones. Still, great fenders if you really need them to protect against dirt and not just as an aesthetic element.
