I took this phone to appreciate the benefits of pure Android from the same Mi-shell. Plus - the phone is rooted and you can customize some functions for yourself, minus - in order to completely remove ads, you need to install non-licensed applications, which I did not dare to do.
It was also interesting to use a model that is a kind of middle ground between cheap Chinese smartphones and Apple. Pixel really looks more representative compared to Xiaomi: a nice body, feels good in the hand, a lot of options that can be customized. But over time, you stop noticing these advantages, because a pleasant case tends to slip off any more or less smooth surface (a case will help you), and in a case you no longer notice this smooth case.
I would recommend this phone for lovers of new devices - they will certainly find in it options that will make this phone stand out from the background of cheap Chinese smartphones: a screen saver that changes every day, shazam on the lock screen, automatic switching to night mode, in which the screen brightness decreases.

Pros

Compared to the previous phone, the camera makes an impression, but here it’s more likely the merit of not the phone itself, but the Google photo application, the neuron processes photos amazingly, you shoot at night, and it feels like the photo was taken during the day.

Cons

1) The battery life, of course, is not encouraging. Compared to the previous Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x phone, the difference in battery capacity is noticeable. The charge is barely enough for the whole day and now in my purse there is always a charger from the phone. This is not so much a drawback as the realities of modern smartphones. 2) OLED screen. The colors are juicy, bright, on a bright day you can see the screen even in sunglasses, but to be honest, I was quite happy with Xiaomi's IPS. The eyes get tired quickly from the OLED screen, and after 2 hours of using the smartphone, you will begin to feel it strongly, sometimes your eyes even begin to water. 3) Google ads. At the beginning of use, it seems that it is everywhere, but after a month you stop noticing it. At first it was very annoying ate after 1.5 years of use: - unfortunately, over time, the phone began to dull (hangs in some program and exits it, thinks when switching between open applications). This was partly due to memory overflow on the device, but even after clearing space and freeing up 50% of the disk, the problem recurred intermittently. (Software ated automatically). - The battery life is also noticeably reduced. So if you are a fan of playing games on your phone, then it is better not to part with the bank.
