This is the second time I've replaced my remote control. The first remote I bought was an exact replacement for the original and it fell apart just like the original. The style of this remote is slightly different from the original, but the buttons and functions are the same. This remote has a slightly more textured feel, which I really like because it's not as smooth. It also seems to last longer and the battery life is different than my last two remotes. I have a feeling the rear end isn't going to fall off like the others all the time.
