I didn't install it but my handyman found that the instructions said the knobs should be inserted backwards. So make sure the knobs are on the right side by turning in the desired direction before installing. You can even see the colors of the water in daylight, although they are faint, but WOW, turning on the water in the dark is a journey. Great fun for young and old and also practical because you don't have to turn on a bright light in the bathroom at night. Much more reassuring.
