Exactly as advertised. Seems to be a very good product. I plugged it in and have been using it with no problems ever since. The only thing is that the surge protector can hang freely in the socket due to the weight. So I tied a rope around it and the post to keep it strong and secure. You definitely don't want a plug hanging in an outlet without being flush. Because exposed pins cause warping and overheating, which leads to melting! This is not a product defect. It's just that the weight of a surge protector pushes against it, causing the plug to partially open at an angle.
