I bought several of these wire cutters because I found so many different uses for them. My wife has her own pair that she uses to groom her nails, remove tags from clothes and open those unruly reusable plastic bags. I use them on my electronics workbench to trim the leads of components after soldering (using their original design). I also keep a few in my hiking/camping backpack for line and line cutting and a variety of other uses. Just be aware that they are sensitive. Don't try to cut something too big or too hard. Also remember that these jaws are very sharp.
