Review on ๐Ÿงฅ Industrial Rustic Black Wall-Mounted T-Bar Metal Pipe Cloth Rack: MyGift 20-Inch Hanging Garment Rack by Eric Longoria

May not be quite what you think, but it might still work.

I removed a few stars and that's why. At first glance, you might think it looks like the industrial plumbing tubes you see in your basement or used as shelf anchors, sticking out of rustic walls. They are, but they are petite so they will look smaller than what you might get. It's okay because it still works, but just be prepared for something like this. The tube itself is 3/4 inch in diameter. They give you length measurements but nothing about pipe diameters. So look carefully at the photos and compare them to the hangers and the objects around them, or grab a 3/4 inch pipe and you're good to go. It came in a very small box. It contains only three parts and a small bag with 3 screws and anchors. Manifold, pipe and mounting plate are one piece, i.e. 1 piece. The other parts are 2 tubes that screw into each side of the tee. When separated, they are quite small. They screwed in well and I was ready to hang. Insert at least one of the screws into the wall stud. Before I started I tried a few hangers and found that the hangers we have (regular hangers) hit the wall and cause them to go in at a slight angle. If only the outlet pipe was made a few inches or so longer. Pictures here of people mounting them on a board or something to move the mounting plate further away from the real wall. This gives you a little more ground clearance. Not a deal breaker, but it's an "Are you kidding me?" moment. I did that and I have a piece of round wood that looks good that I used. I mounted it on a stand and then attached the plate to the tree with screws. So I thought. The first screw I used broke the head. It couldn't handle the torque and I have a cordless screwdriver that I used on the lightest settings. So he rode slowly but collapsed. I think these are cheap drywall screws so I used the ones I have that were stronger. Of course they weren't black, so I had to paint the heads with a marker. Your screws will most likely fit, so try those first. I have an impact wrench but I used it on low settings and variable speed so I was careful but it broke anyway. Be careful and don't let that put you off a purchase. It can be worked on to make it look good but like someone said it can be improved.
