Ideal for replacing the factory coolant temperature sensor on a full size '94 Bronco. There are two sensors. This is ONLY used to display the engine temperature on the dashboard. He doesn't do anything else. There is another sensor that is used to measure the coolant/cylinder head temperature to send data to the onboard computer to complete the fuel injection circuit. That's a different sensor. A symptom of a malfunction of this sensor is a problem with the dashboard. There is no check engine light or codes. If these vehicles (Ford EEC-IV) have a check engine light or codes, the problem is with a different sensor.
