Review on AQUACREST LT1000PC NSF Certified Refrigerator Water Filter - Replacement for LG LT1000P, LT1000PC, LT1000PCS, ADQ74793501, ADQ74793502, Kenmore 469980, 9980 - Pack of 3 by James Cruz

Bought 3 packs to save money. The LG brand was significantly more expensive back then. I installed one 6 months ago. It ran fine and I had no problems with it during installation. But yesterday I had to change the filter for a new one, but the old one didn't pull out. I knew I had to turn it counterclockwise but it got stuck. Eventually I was able to get it, but part of the fridge broke in the process. Now I can't put in a new filter. So if you try to use the water dispenser on the door, all the water goes into the fridge. So I had to turn everything off. There is currently no ice machine. So trying to save a few bucks cost me a service call. I have 2 new filters in case anyone needs them. Back to the LG filters.
