Seems to be a great tool for creating a YouTube channel. Just add a tripod!

4/4/19. I was very happy to receive it today! I'm in the process of making a YouTube channel and I'll see if this camera and stereo mic is what I need! will post updates. See photos. Very well presented. I haven't had a camcorder since the iPhone came out, but when I first tried to make a YouTube video, I immediately saw the limitations of using the iPhone. It's ok, but I was let down by the sound and lack of a feature in iMovie and really felt like I needed to use professional software and setup. Let's get back to this video camera. What attracted me was the price, features and microphone. The microphone allows me to place it next to me on a separate mini tripod while the camera is further away. It's really awesome! The camera has a remote control so I can be my own director and on the touchscreen I can see that the camera is framing me properly. The camera uses a removable SD card (not included) and built-in WiFi. This makes it easy to move the raw video to my laptop so I can edit YouTube videos. I found the camera controls easy to use, as well as the menus since the screen is touch-sensitive. It's also very bright, although it's raining today, so I can't test it in bright sunshine. It comes with two batteries, and the camera and battery fit inside the case, although it's a snug fit. The hull could have been made a little bigger. Everything runs perfectly without a battery. Look at the photos. It comes with a macro lens, and the lens has caps on both sides, a lens hood, and a pouch for storage. Very well thought out! The microphone also has a pouch and its own internal battery. I don't have an SD memory card handy so I won't be able to quickly record a video example first, but I will do so tomorrow and will post an update soon. The instruction manuals are somewhat easy to read, much better than expected. They should hire me to flatten the English. In general, it is easy to understand what is at stake. And so far I've found the camera to be intuitive to use, so I haven't needed a manual yet. :-) That's it for now! Not all!
