Great product. I bought a large platform feeder and wanted to hang it so we can see the birds outside our living room window. Since this stand was rust resistant and wide enough to hold a feeder, I gave it a try. It works well! It was easy to assemble - I just removed the end caps from the unit to push the hollow legs into the ground for stability. Small diameter bars - for me they might not be strong enough for a lot of heavy stuff but we have a lot of birds that sit on the top frame and on the feeder so it's strong enough for that. However if it needs to be very strong I would recommend using something like Loctite or some other bolt tightening tool to strengthen it. Bonus: I love that it has 2 shelves just in case I want to put flower pots on the bottom.
